Drawing the Human Eye, Free Art Tutorial

I like this tutorial a lot. I'm going to come back to it when I'm more awake (and have better supplies!) and try it again.

Things that I did differently that affected my outcome:
I used a baaaaad picture of my own eye for my model.
I used two different quality Number 2 pencils. One had a really bad eraser, so I used that to smudge.

The only thing that I was left wanting at the end of this tutorial was that I would really have liked to see the picture he used for his model to compare.

I'm pretty impressed with myself. Compared with what I would have drawn yesterday, my eye skills are improved leaps and bounds. Here are pictures of my eye and my other eye.

Welcome to School!

I would loooove to go to art school, but I've got a paintbrush and a can of beans, so that's not going to happen any time soon. Figure, I need to enroll in this here Hobo Art School. If'n you're hankerin for some artsy schooling for the price of a mouse click, stick around!
